Sarah Stone, DVM

Associate Veterinarian


She is 1998 Salutatorian of her class of the University of Illinois. Dr. Sarah recently joined our staff. Raised in the St. Louis area, her special interests are feline medicine and senior care for dogs and cats. In her spare time, Dr. Stone enjoys listening to different styles of music, playing both the flute and the tin whistle, gardening, reading, and making floral arrangements. She shares her home with her husband Andrew, Annie-a Wheaton / Poodle mix, Pita-a Shih Tzu mix, and 3 cats - Tuxedo, Amelia, and Ernie.

Anne Lannon, DVM

Relief Veterinarian


Dr. Anne also works for us part-time. She is a 1988 University of Florida graduate. She did a residency at the University of Pennsylvania from 1994 to 1996 in medical genetics. She then moved to California to accept the position of Director of Canine Health for Guide Dogs for the Blind. Her interests include agility training for dogs and sailing. She has, as she puts it, "3 pets and 1 husband."

Angie Kovalick, DVM


Veterinary Assistant and Receptionist


Wendy started at our hospital in the fall of 1991. She has 2 dogs and mules. She enjoys trail riding and camping.

Stacie worked at out Gilbert's office full-time several years ago. She took a few years off to start a family. She now works part-time at both offices when not juggling family duties.

Glenn has been a vet tech for 5 years. He and his wife have a terrier named Annabelle and a cat named Chairman Meow. He has been studying martial arts and recently started attending school to become a physical therapist. Glenn enjoys comic books, Star Wars, and sculpting toy soldiers.

Heather has an Associate's Degree in Biology from Harper College in Palatine. She has worked at a few other animal hospitals in Northern Illinois before joining our team. When not involved with her hectic schedule, Heather takes care of her husband and 2 boys at home. She owns 2 dogs and a cat.

Kari has been a vet tech for 2 years. She recently became a mother to a baby boy, which takes up most of her spare time. She has a huge love for animals and enjoys spending time with family and friends.


Jose has been a vet tech for 10 years. When he was younger, he volunteered at animal shelters. He has also worked at a cat-only clinic, and most recently, the Anticruelty Society in the heart of downtown Chicago. There, he assisted veterinarians in many surgeries to help prevent unwanted litters. When he is not at work, Jose likes to travel, watch movies, work out, and spend time with friends and his 2 kitties.

He graduated from University of Illinois College of Veterinary Medicine in 1977. Dr. Tom grew up on a farm near Hampshire. Except for 3 years in Joliet, he has been a Hampshire Veterinarian since 1981. His wife, Brenda, is a local school teacher, and they have 3 grown children: Laura, Jennifer, and Kyle.

Dr. Kovalick is a 1983 graduate of the University of Illinois College of Veterinary Medicine who has recently chosen to work part-time for us in an effort to spend more time with her family. She has a daughter in college and a son ready to start high school next year. Their family lives on a giant pumpkin farm in Sugar Grove, and they have more pets than they care to admit. Her interests are in preventive medicine, senior care, and behavior.
